Servings: 10
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature (½ an 8 oz brick)
- ¼ cup shredded smoked Gouda cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 5 jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise, seeds removed
- 5 strips bacon, cut in half
Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise, and remove seeds. Set aside. 2. Mix softened cream cheese, smoked gouda, garlic powder and black pepper until well combined. 3. Stuff each pepper half with the cream cheese mixture, being careful not to overfill. 4. Wrap each pepper with bacon, and secure with toothpicks. 5. Place the wrapped jalapeño poppers evenly in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may have to do this in 2 batches, depending on the size of your particular air fryer model. (I did 2 batches). 6. Air fry the poppers at 375 degrees F for 12-13 minutes, until the cheese turns golden brown and bacon is crisp and cooked through. 7. Remove from air fryer, allow to cool slightly, remove toothpicks (if desired) and serve warm!
