- 4 slices cooked bacon, cut into small pieces
- 4 scallions, thinly sliced
- ½ tablespoon molasses
- 2 tablespoon yellow mustard
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (preferably organic)
- 1 28 oz can Bush's Original Baked Beans (or prepared canned baked beans of choice)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees f. 2. Grease a small baking dish or 9” pie plate with cooking spray or butter. 3. Cook bacon until desired doneness in a pan until crisp, and drain on paper towels. Chop into small ¼” pieces. 4. Add remaining ingredients to a large bowl and stir well. 5. Transfer to greased dish and bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the top of the beans are browned and bubbly. Let rest 15 minutes prior to serving.
