Ginger syrup
- 1 cup peeled sliced ginger
- ¾ cup water
- 1 cup sugar
Margaritas
- 4 oz fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1 oz fresh squeeze lime juice
- 1 oz cointreau
- 2 oz blanco tequila
- 1 oz ginger simple syrup (directions below)
- Tajin seasoning, ice, and fresh sliced citrus, for serving
Make the fresh ginger syrup 1. Add the sugar and water to a small sauce pan, and bring to a boil over high heat. 2. Once boiling, stir until all sugar is dissolved. 3. Reduce heat to low, add sliced ginger, and cover with a slightly ajar lid. 4. Simmer 15 minutes, then turn off heat, and let sit until completely cooled. 5.
