Cranberry & Rosemary Easy Christmas Cocktails with Bourbon

Ingredients

Rosemary Honey Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary

Cocktails

  • 3 oz Rosemary Honey Simple Syrup
  • 3 oz Bourbon Whiskey
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Cranberry Juice
  • ΒΌ cup fresh squeezed melogold grapefruit juice (or lemon juice)
  • Non-Alcoholic Ginger Beer
  • Fresh or Frozen Cranberries
  • Additional Rosemary Sprigs, for Garnish

Instructions

  • Make the simple syrup:
    1. Add water, honey and rosemary sprigs to a small saucepan.
    2. Heat on high and bring to a boil.
    3. Once boiling, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes.
    4. Allow to cool completely, and strain into a mason jar or airtight container.
    Make the cocktails:
    1. Fill 4 small cocktail glasses with ice, and add a rosemary sprig to each.
    2. To a cocktail shaker, add syrup, cranberry juice, bourbon and melogold grapefruit juice (or lemons).
    3. Shake well, and pour evenly into cocktail glasses.
    4. Top each cocktail with ginger beer, and cranberries.
    5. Enjoy!
