Ingredients

  • 2 bulbs roasted garlic (see below for recipe link)
  • 1 15.5 oz can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed well 
  • ¼ cup good quality tahini (stirred well)
  • 1 tablespoon prepared miso paste (organic preferred) 
  • 2 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice 
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 
  • 3-5 tablespoon water

Garnishes

  • fresh chopped parsley
  • toasted sesame seeds
  • additional extra virgin olive oil 

Instructions

  • 1. Roast The garlic and Allow it to cool.
    2. Add all hummus ingredients to a blender, except water. Blend well until mostly smooth.
    3. Add water little buy little until desired consistency is reached.
    4. Transfer to a serving bowl, smooth with a spoon drizzle with olive oil, and and garnish with toasted sesame seeds, and fresh parsley.
