- 3 oz Mezcal tequila*
- 8 sage leaves
- juice of 2 limes
- 2 oz agave or simple syrup
- 12 oz ginger beer
In a cocktail shaker or mason jar, muddle sage leaves and agave or simple syrup together to release the sage flavor.
Add mezcal and lime juice, shake well, and strain over two Moscow mule/copper mugs or highball glasses filled with ice.
Top with ginger beer, and garnish with sage leaves and lime, if desired.
Notes/Substitutions:
Silver tequila could be substituted for Mezcal.
