Pulled Pork Slider Ingredients
For the Pulled Pork Sliders
- 2 cups of pulled pork. I love to make these with my Slow Cooker Spice Rubbed Pulled Pork, but you could also use your favorite store bought pulled pork. I use a pork butt or pork shoulder for the pork, so its extra juicy.
- Sliced pepper jack cheese. Cheddar would also be great.
- BBQ mayo (recipe below). This adds a delicious tangy flavor to the sliders.
- Kings Hawaiian rolls, or other slider rolls.
- Melted butter.
- 2 cloves garlic, minced. You'll whisk these into the butter to make garlic butter for the tops of the rolls.
- Sesame seeds and poppy seeds, for topping the buttered rolls.
- Broccoli slaw / coleslaw, for serving (recipe below). This will be added after the sliders are baked, if desired.
Broccoli Slaw
I like to use broccoli slaw for this recipe, but you can use regular coleslaw mix as well. To make the slaw, you will need:
- Store bought broccoli slaw or coleslaw mix.
- Mayonaise.
- Milk.
- Sugar.
- Apple cider vinegar.
- Celery seed.
- Poppy seeds.
- Cracked pepper and kosher salt, to taste.
- A dash of cayenne pepper.
Tangy BBQ Mayonaise Spread
- Mayonaise.
- Your favorite BBQ Sauce.
- Apple Cider Vinegar. I prefer the organic kind.
- Worcestershire Sauce.
- Smoked Paprika.
- Onion Powder.
- Garlic Powder.
- Dry Mustard Powder.
- Salt and Pepper to taste.

- Add pork in even layer, using a slotted spoon, and leaving behind excess liquid.
- Top with even layer of sliced pepper jack cheese (it will overlap some).
- Top with top buns.
- Melt butter (I do about 30 seconds in the microwave), and whisk in minced garlic.
- Brush garlic butter mixture evenly over top buns, and sprinkle tops with sesame seeds and poppy seeds.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden and cheese is melted.
Serving the sliders
Serve these sliders warm, and add the coleslaw after they are baked, if desired. These also go great with a little extra BBQ mayo, BBQ sauce, or even some dill pickles.
What to serve with the Pulled Pork Sliders
- Warm Bacon Potato Salad
- Classic Potato Chips or Fries
- Mac and Cheese
Storing and reheating leftovers
These sliders can be cooled to room temperature and stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days, in an airtight container, or wrapped in foil or plastic wrap. To reheat, I would recommend baking until warmed through, or reheating briefly in the air fryer for best results.
