Equipment

  • cocktail shaker or mason jar
  • fine mesh sieve

Ingredients

  • 5 kiwis, peeled and sliced 
  • ½ medium jalapeño, sliced 
  • the juice of 3 limes
  • 2 tablespoon agave nectar
  • 3 oz Blanco tequila
  • 6 oz margarita mix, such as Sauza

Instructions

  • Add the sliced kiwis, jalapeño slices, lime juice, and agave to a mason jar or cocktail shaker.
  • Muddle, pressing the kiwis until well mashed.
  • Add tequila and margarita mix and shake well.
  • Strain, pressing through a fine mesh sieve to get all the juice from the kiwis.
  • Pour over 2 cocktail glasses filled ice, and garnish with additional kiwi slices.
