- 16 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
- ¼ teaspoon fresh lemon zest
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
Toppings
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
Add ricotta, lemon zest, garlic, olive oil and salt and pepper to the bowl of a food processor, and blend until smooth - about 30 seconds.
Transfer to s serving bowl, and drizzle the top with honey and lemon juice.
Top with basil and serve alongside bread, crudite, crackers or crostini.
