Ingredients

  • 16 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh lemon zest
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil 
  • salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste  

Toppings

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice 
  • 1 tablespoon thinly sliced fresh basil leaves 

Instructions

  • Add ricotta, lemon zest, garlic, olive oil and salt and pepper to the bowl of a food processor, and blend until smooth - about 30 seconds.
  • Transfer to s serving bowl, and drizzle the top with honey and lemon juice.
  • Top with basil and serve alongside bread, crudite, crackers or crostini.
