How to make whipped ricotta

This whipped ricotta has got to be one of the easiest elegant appetizer to whip up. It’s almost effortless, and comes together in less than a minute in the food processor.

To make the dip, add ricotta, lemon zest, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper to the bowl of a food processor. Blend/process until smooth – about 30 seconds. Once it’s nice and smooth, transfer it to a serving bowl, and top it with honey, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, and some finely sliced fresh basil leaves. Add a bunch of fresh basil and a dusting of lemon zest on top if you’re feeling fancy, and voila- a delicious appetizer in a few minutes!
