YumA great additional to any fall cocktail, this Fall Spiced Simple Syrup adds a bit of autumn spice with very minimal effort.

Making the simple syrup
To make the simple syrup, you will need:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup cane sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise pod
- 2 whole cloves
They don’t call it “simple” syrup for nothing. To make the fall spiced cocktail booster, all you need to do is all all the ingredients to a saucepan, and bring them to a boil. Once they are boiling, stir to dissolve the sugar, and reduce the heat to medium low. Simmer for about 5 minutes-. Then you’ll let it sit on the stove until cool. Remove the star anise, cinnamon stick and cloves, and store in a jar or container in the fridge. If stored properly, the syrup will last up to 2 months!

Great cocktails to make with Fall Spiced Simple Syrup
This recipe makes about 1.5 cups of simple syrup- plenty for making a good amount of delicious cocktails!
I love to use this syrup in my Spiced Pearsecco, Anejo Apple Cider Margaritas, and Pumpkin Spice Martinis! But it would make a great addition to any cocktail you want to give a bit of fall flavor too, and pair well with bourbon.
