Making the cane sugar simple syrup

To make the cane sugar simple syrup, you will need:

  • 1 cup organic cane sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise pod
  • 2 whole cloves

They don’t call it “simple” syrup for nothing.

To make the fall spiced cocktail booster, all you need to do is all all the ingredients to a saucepan, and bring them to a boil.

Once they are boiling, stir to dissolve the sugar, and reduce the heat to medium low.

Simmer for about 5 minutes. Then you’ll let it sit on the stove until cool. Remove the star anise, cinnamon stick and cloves, and store in a jar or container in the fridge.
